I'm Sure We All Know - It Is Extremely Dry in Our Neighborhood
Here's a note from our Board of Directors

JULY 4TH AND FIREWORKS

Due to the extremely dry conditions Harris County has banned the use of aerial fireworks. We interpret that to mean bottle rockets and things that fly. Nottingham Country homeowners need to be very concerned about fireworks and the extremely dry conditions that we are experiencing throughout the area. These two combined have the potential of causing major fires in our area. Unfortunately fireworks are legal in unincorporated areas of Harris County and Nottingham Country lies in such an area. We are not able to ban fireworks in our community. The NCCIA Board encourages homeowners to try to avoid discharging all fireworks at this time due to the dry conditions. We realize that there will be some discharged regardless of this request. Parents please be mindful of your children discharging fireworks without your supervision. Please provide adult supervision so that we do not experience home fires in our community. Also keep in mind that law enforcement personnel will arrest those discharging bottle rockets and other such banned fireworks. Lets all have a nice fun filled but safe July 4th.
